About Us
Founded by Craig Smith and Jack Morgan in 2019, We Are Not Architects was born in Bristol from the shared belief that well designed and constructed homes can change lives. Through a collaborative design-led approach, we listen to our clients to understand what they want and need from a home. Guiding them through the whole process, we’ll take a project from initial design ideas right through to construction. With an extensive network of qualified professionals at our fingertips, we’ll always be able to call on the right people to help get the job done.
Primarily based in Bristol, we work on residential architectural projects and larger developments in the South West and surrounding areas; including projects in Monmouthshire, South Wales, Bath, Bournemouth and even as far afield as London.

We are a design-led architecture studio who passionately deliver inspiring designs tailored to the needs of our clients - after all, architecture is about people.
Kaizen is a Japanese concept of continuous improvement and one which we strive to live by here at WANA - put simply we try to be better at everything we do, every time we do it.
We are constantly evolving our knowledge of design, sustainability practices, retrofit, technology and we are nowhere near experts - every day is a learning day and that is what motivates us.
With many years of experience, across hundreds of projects, we are still driven by the enjoyment of working on new projects and delivering a positive experience to clients. We have built a strong working network, engineered on trust, that helps us to bring our clients' visions to fruition.
